Open Day

A fantastic event for all the family, join us for 3hrs of fun and learn about space, our solar system and science.

Your visit will include a fascinating demonstration of our large Newtonian Telescope and a chance to look through our specialist filtered solar telescopes to view the Sun safely, weather permitting.  

Our expert team will be available to answer your questions and guide you through your tour, and we will also be running rolling talks about Radio Astronomy

Also, you will have the opportunity to experience the wonders of the universe in our new state of the art Planetarium.  

You can also browse our exhibitions housed in the Victorian reservoir and on the first floor, and relax in our cafe and enjoy light refreshments.

Please note: If attending the event, please plan to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your allocated timeslot.
